Japan Winter Prewedding (Shirakawago & Kanazawa)

Snowfall has reduced quite a lot throughout the years. However, when it does snows, winter really brings it on. This shoot had to be pushed back a day because of extreme snowfall. Extreme snowfall can cause congestion and closure on the toll roads. I didn’t want to risk being stranded on the toll roads. Safety always come first.

Thanks to the heavy snowfall, Shirakawago was blanketed in white, beautiful snow and looked absolutely magical. A big thank you to the couple for choosing me to document their engagement in such a beautiful place. They did wonderful, powering through the cold.

After Shirakwago, the couple slipped into much warmer outfits and explored the quaint traditional streets of Kanazawa.

I had a lovely time with these two lovebirds! Thank you so much!
